SUMMARY:Continuum of Care Program: Utility Allowances and Reimbursements
DESCRIPTION:Intended Audience: Current and future recipient and subrecipient agencies of CoC Program projects who are responsible for designing or implementing housing projects including calculating rent portions. This could include Directors\, Program Managers\, Frontline staff and fiscal office staff who are part of the project management or day to day project operations and calculating unit and tenant rent costs. \nDescription: During this session attendees will learn about HUD requirements for implementing utility allowances during the rental calculation and monthly payment processes. The training will cover utility allowance inclusions and exclusions\, how and when to calculate a utility allowance and options for payment of utilities that are not included in a unit’s contract rent. \nThe training will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams. \n Click Here to Register
