DESCRIPTION:The Funding Committee works with the Collaborative Applicant to design and implement a consolidated application process for Rhode Island programs and projects seeking Continuum of Care funding. The Committee reviews and evaluates the performance of recipients of CoC funding and recommends actions to be taken against poor performers. SUMMARY:Navigating Uncertain Times: Guidance for CoC Projects
DESCRIPTION:Intended Audience: Management Staff at CoC/YHDP Projects\, including\, Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH)\, Rapid Rehousing (RRH)\, Joint TH/RRH and Supportive Services Only (Coordinated Entry\, Outreach\, YHDP)\, and fiscal office staff at the recipient and subrecipient agencies with CoC grants. \nDescription: This session will provide timely updates and strategies to help Continuum of Care (CoC) programs adapt to a shifting policy and funding landscape. Housing Innovations will cover updates related to the FY25 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO)\, anticipated changes in the federal FY26 budget and their implications for CoC projects\, and new HUD grant agreement terms that may affect compliance and operations. Participants will also explore strategies for managing uncertainty\, including financial planning and scenario analysis\, and learn techniques for trauma-informed communication during times of stress.
