DESCRIPTION:Intended Audience: Providers of all levels who provide support and care to vulnerable populations. \nDescription: Though working in the human services field is incredibly rewarding\, it is also incredibly difficult. Providers who don’t actively attend to their wellness can experience physical\, emotional\, and spiritual exhaustion. Since staff is the great resource in this field\, it is vitally important that they encouraged to put own wellbeing first always. In this training\, we will focus on ways staff can increase resilience to maximize work satisfaction and mitigate hazards such as burnout and vicarious. \nThe training will be held virtually over Zoom. \nClick Here to Register

SUMMARY:Continuum of Care Program Paying for Housing Units: Leasing\, Operating\, and Rental Assistance
DESCRIPTION:Intended Audience: Current and future recipient and subrecipient agencies of CoC Program projects who are responsible for designing or implementing housing projects. This could include Directors\, Program Managers\, Frontline staff and fiscal office staff who are part of the project management or day to day project operations. People who would like to better understand how participant housing costs can be funded by CoC Program awards. \nDescription: During this session attendees will learn how participant housing costs can be funded by CoC Program projects. The training will cover the three allowable budget line items for housing units and the allowable and unallowable activities for each type. Additionally\, attendees will learn about project design elements that are impacted by the type of housing funds in the CoC Program project.This session will build upon the foundational information presented in the sessions: March 2025 “CoC: Eligible project types and eligible expenses”\, October 15\, 2025 “Housing Requirements for Rapid Rehousing (RRH) and Joint TH-RRH” and “October 28\, 2025 Housing Requirements for Permanent Supportive Housing”.
