Session 10: Housing Stability & Eviction Prevention: Tools and Strategies to Promote Housing Stability

September 15 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

This follow-up training moves beyond crisis prevention to focus on the long-term “maintenance phase” of housing stability, providing case managers with a framework for sustainable tenancy. While initial support often focuses on stabilization, this session introduces advanced tools to foster client autonomy and social integration, which are critical to maintaining long-term housing stability. Case managers will learn how to transition from intensive oversight to more of a “consultant” model, utilizing tracking tools to monitor housing health and implementing community-based support networks that provide a safety net for clients as formal case management tapers off.

Learning Objectives
1. Participants can create a housing stability plan based on client risks.
2. Participants can create an individualized community resource plan that can be activated when clients are at risk of eviction.

This training will be held virtually over Zoom.
