Intended Audience: Supervisory and Housing Coordination Staff at CoC Permanent Supportive Housing Projects (PSH)
Description: This course will provide an overview of housing requirements in PSH CoC Projects. Topics covered will include: Housing Quality Standards (HQS), National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE), Environmental Review, Lead-Based Paint, Fair Market Rents (FMR), Rent Reasonableness Determinations, Leases/, HAP Agreements, Income Determination, Rent Payment Standards & Rent Calculation, Notification of Rent Obligation, Initial Payment and Security Deposit, Recertification, Retention of Assistance and Re-housing, Project Exit Requirements, Vacancies, Property Damage.
The training will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams.
