Intended Audience: Management Staff at CoC/YHDP Projects, including, Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH), Rapid Rehousing (RRH), Joint TH/RRH and Supportive Services Only (Coordinated Entry, Outreach, YHDP), and fiscal office staff at the recipient and subrecipient agencies with CoC grants.
Description: This session will provide timely updates and strategies to help Continuum of Care (CoC) programs adapt to a shifting policy and funding landscape. Housing Innovations will cover updates related to the FY25 Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO), anticipated changes in the federal FY26 budget and their implications for CoC projects, and new HUD grant agreement terms that may affect compliance and operations. Participants will also explore strategies for managing uncertainty, including financial planning and scenario analysis, and learn techniques for trauma-informed communication during times of stress. Additional emerging topics will be included based on the latest federal guidance and national trends in the homelessness response system.
The training will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams.
