Outreach and Engagement with Individuals with Co-occurring Disorders

Intended audience: Case managers, program managers, anyone who works in the homeless response system.
Description: During this session, facilitator Daisy Hernandez, MSW, LCSW, will review the basics of co-occurring disorder and assessing crisis, as well as better understanding in outreaching population managing co-occurring disorders. She will uplift the value of trauma informed care and person-centered care. The facilitator will talk about the art of engagement and the opportunity to practice skills putting it all together through scenarios.
The training will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams.
