Session 7: Subpopulation Needs and Service Strategies: Dynamics of Different Populations

This session provides an overview of the unique needs, considerations, and available resources for key subpopulations experiencing homelessness, including Youth and Young Adults, survivors of Domestic Violence, Veterans, and older adults. Participants will gain an understanding of the service systems, program requirements, and partnership expectations associated with each of these specialized populations. The training highlights strategies for effective collaboration with system partners and offers
guidance on navigating eligibility criteria, confidentiality considerations, and cross-system coordination to ensure appropriate and equitable access to housing and supportive services.

Learning Objectives
1. Participants understand resources and programming available to specific populations, and how to access those resources.

This training will be held virtually over Zoom.
