Stigma and Bias

Intended Audience: Case managers, program managers, anyone who works in the homeless response system.
Description: During this session, facilitator Daisy Hernandez, MSW, LCSW, will explore the purpose of stigma, its components and why they matter. She will engage participants in a comparison between stigma and bias and one’s genuine self. Daisy will also talk about person-first language.
The training will be held virtually over Microsoft Teams.
